IMPULSE GALLERY feiert eine Premiere: Drei Skulpturen des deutschen Künstlers Julian Voss-Andreae werden erstmals in der Schweiz ausgestellt. Zwei Skulpturen, Sentinel of Light und Sitting Man, sind im weltberühmten Bürgenstock Resort, 874 Meter über dem Vierwaldstättersee, aufgestellt. Die dritte Skulptur, Kundalini, ist in der Impulse Gallery, im Herzen von Luzern, zu sehen.
Julian Voss-Andreae verbindet Quantenphysik mit Kunst. Seine Skulpturen sind ein Rätsel für die Sinne, denn die menschlichen Figuren haben aus einem bestimmten Blickwinkel Volumen und Gewicht, während sie aus einem anderen fast völlig verschwinden. Mit dieser Installation stellt die Impulse Gallery Voss-Andreae's einzigartige Werke offiziell in der Schweiz vor.

Voss-Andreae aims to convey a deeper understanding of the nature of reality. His pieces are able to do so without the viewer needing to have any prior knowledge of natural sciences. The sculpture’s unique signature is that at first glance they seem abstract, however, they actually depict accurate aspects of reality’s lowest level. He aspires to increase the audience’s capacity to ’intuit the unfathomable, deeper nature of reality by sensually experiencing the works as Voss-Andreae states « Art, when free from the demands of literalism, has a unique potential for indicating aspects of reality that science cannot. »
As human beings, we are constantly engaged with our environment and are thereby co-creators of our reality. This interaction is beautifully captured in Voss-Andreae’s works as the viewer is actively changing the sculpture's appearance in reality through a change of perspective, which provides an embodied experience of an otherwise abstract scientific and spiritual concept.
